Day (1): TRIPOLI
Upon arrival at Tripoli Airport, customs formalities and transfer to the hotel (5 stars). Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Day (2): TRIPOLI –QASER AL HAJJ –NALUT -GHADAMES
Breakfast. In the morning departure to Ghadames oasis (about 680 km), stop along the way, first at Qaser al Hajj and then at Nalut to visit the ancient Berber villages and see its large round fortification, that was used for four centuries as a granary where people stored their grain and olive oil, lunch at a restaurant .Proceed to Ghadames. Dinner and overnight at hotel (2 star) or in private tourist houses.

 

Day (3): GHADAMES CITY TOUR
Breakfast. A thorough tour in this fascinating desert town, watching its magnificent architecture, displayed in its mudbrick buildings, walking through its old winding streets, and observing its charming colorful houses. Take the pleasure in having a traditional lunch in an old local house, rest then head forwards to the sand dunes to enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Day (4): GHADAMES –KABAW-TRIPOLI
Breakfast. In the morning, departure to Tripoli (about 650 km), stop at Kabaw to visit this Berber village famous for its castle and oil press.Lunch at restaurant. Proceed to Tripoli. Dinner and overnight at hotel (5 stars).

 

Day (5): TRIPOLI-LEPTIS MAGNA-TRIPOLI
Breakfast. Departure to Leptis Magna (about 120 km), Founded by the Phoenicians in the VII Th century B.C., it’s the birth-place of Emperor Septimius Severus, he had huge buildings erected and decorated with beautiful marble and colored stucco. Visit the site along the sea coast. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Archaeological Museum, and the amphitheater. Return to Tripoli in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day (6): TRIPOLI-SABATHA-TRIPOLI
Breakfast. In the morning, visit the Jamahiriya Museum where exhibited the finds from the main archaeological sites of Libya. Departure to Sabratha (about 70 km), founded by the Phoenicians as a commercial centre in the VII Th century B.C., upon arrival, lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit this ancient Roman city famous for its theatre. Return to Tripoli in the evening. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Day (7): TRIPOLI CITY TOUR
Breakfast. Morning free for resting and relaxing. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, city tour: starting with the victory arch of Marcus Aurilus, the Buildings of the British and the French consulates, the Karamanly house, the catholic church of Santa Maria, Al Nagah Mosque, the Medina sougs & bazaars, the castle of Alsaraya Al hamra and the Italian style buildings along the sea shore. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

Day (8): TRIPOLI -DEPARTURE
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and departure.
